Wendy helps individuals and couples do life and love in a more authentic way: restoring confidence, deepening connection, and reigniting intimacy, even when you feel stuck or at a crossroads.

Her practice is a judgment-free, confidential space built on a simple belief: that sexual and relational wellness is a fundamental part of a full life. She has spent her career studying the places where love and sexuality meet grief, identity, parenthood, illness, and history.

A longtime leader in the field, Wendy served on the AASECT Board of Directors (2022–2024) and its Sex Therapy Certification Committee, teaches human sexuality at the graduate level, and advises on the Master's curriculum in Critical Sexuality Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Wendy sees clients in person in Sarasota and online throughout Florida and Connecticut.

Dr. Ryan brings more than 30 years of experience as a board-certified women's health nurse practitioner to intimacy and sexual health counseling, helping individuals and couples enrich their relationships through counseling, education, and workshops.

Her clinical expertise spans men's sexual health, women's midlife health, and oncology sexual health, and she helps clients navigate low desire, lack of pleasure, performance anxiety, body image concerns, and sexual dysfunction.

An AASECT-certified supervisor and approved continuing education provider, she also trains healthcare professionals to confidently address sexual health, and created programs including Reignite Your Desire and Reclaiming Intimacy After Cancer.
